The SafeTemp™ Medication Case is designed to keep medication cold for up to 12 hours with one set of ice packs, depending on outside temperature and how often the case is opened.
For longer trips (10–20+ hours), many of our customers use a simple rotation method:
• Bring extra frozen ice packs in a separate insulated bag
• Monitor the temperature on the SafeTemp display
• Before first use, remove the small battery tab from the display so the screen can turn on
• When the temperature starts to rise, swap in new ice packs
If you're flying, some customers also ask flight attendants to store only the ice packs in the onboard freezer, then rotate them back into the case during the flight.

- Place one on the left, one on the right — or stack both on one side for improved performance and longer cooling. The left side has a small indent for the thermometer, so fold or squish the top of the left pack slightly if needed.
